Science Fair

Happy Friday!

Here is a picture of Sydney with her Science Fair project. She did her project on Chromatography (the process of separating color) and it turned out fantastic. She got an A on her presentation and an A on her report. She received a first place on her project and I heard she did a really good job when the judges came around. That in itself is awesome since Sydney isn't very comfortable with public speaking. She was thrilled and we were so proud of her and the blue ribbon she received.

Tonight, Sydney's best friend Brittney will be coming over. We will be taking the girls out for a celebration dinner after we drop the boys off at swim practice. They are both very excited. It will be a fun evening for them as Brittney will then spend the night here with Syd. It was a good way to end the week!

Last year, Noah won a blue ribbon and he went to Regionals with his Science Fair project. It was certainly interesting! Regionals is a VERY long day. Lots and lots of waiting! The awards process is a very long ordeal too. What was even more difficult was Regionals took place on one of the coldest weekends of the winter last year plus that weekend was also Elijah's swimming conference so it turned out to be a very CRAZY weekend! Yikes! But, it was a great experience and Noah, I'm sure he was glad he got to participate in that.

Congratulations to Sydney for a job well done. We couldn't be happier for our little winner!
